Look at our Little Princess smile so big! She has competed in 2 Cinderella Pageants and has placed in both. She won Overall at the last competition and will be competing in the State Competition in June. We call it playing dress up! She loves to play dress up and show off a little in the Process! She has really been so fun in these so called terrible two's. I couldn't imagine my world without our little princess!
Carris also loves to cook. She is the best pretend chef in the world! She prepares some of the most amazing dishes for her dad and me. She is so animated in everything she does, I love it! Hope you get a chance to share in one of her amazing dishes too!

Carris visits the Easter Bunny. Not to mention sporting him on her face. I thought it was going to be a little bunny on her cheek, but to my suprise the little bunny covered her whole face. Believe it or not, she left it alone the whole day and I brought home the little bunny to see her daddy. Carris is showing off her Cowgirl hat. I bought it for her 2 years ago and it now barely fits. Man how they grow up too fast!! But we sure are enjoying every minute of this amazing journey together!!!

First Astros Game

Carris got to go to her first Astros game last night. She was super excited and would hardly sit down. Lucky mommy and daddy. The Astros lost but we had a great time.

Easter

I am finally updating it!!!!
We had a great Easter yesterday. Carris had a blast hunting eggs all 5 times. As you can see she got a baby chicken and we know who is going to be taking care of that. Haha.

We saw Carris Kissing Santa Clause!!!

Last night was a big night for Carris! We went to The Woodlands Mall to get her Christmas portraits and family portraits and then headed off to see Santa! It was a great session! After a whole year of getting pictures taken monthly she now will say "Cheese" on command!! She is sooooo fun. Thinking about how amazing she is makes me tear up!!! That's why I usually have Jeremy write these things!!! Anyway..... here is a picture of Carris trying to give Santa A kiss!! She thought about getting away at first, but then we told her to give him a KISS and she raised her chin to do just that! Santa was a good sport and bent down to her so she could reach. Just in case you are wondering she never actually kissed him, but it sure made for a cute photo!! Kind of almost looks like she is trying to tell him a secret!! Too Cute!

Later on, once we returned home our little girl went PeePee in the Potty!! Can you believe it! She turned 14 months today and she went PeePee in the Potty! By no means does she have it down, but its a start! This is a picture of Carris doing her PEEPEE DANCE!!!

It has been a long time...

My baby girl is getting soooooo big!!!!! It has been a long time since I have updated her site. She has changed sooo much. I am officially in chase down mode. This little girl learned to walk and then the same day learned to run and hasn't stopped since. I have dinally trained her cousins to chase her down and bring her back for me. Since the start of school Candice and I have been running around going crazy. We are both coaching a sports that is in season now and we both wish we could spend more time with Carris.

Carris is a little older than 11 months and momma has been working very hard on her one year old birthday party. It is going to be great. She has invited the whole world.

Vacation to Arkansas

We had a great time in Arkansas!!!! As you can tell, Carris had a great time too. She got to have a lot of new experiences. She experienced her first fourth of July and got to shoot some fireworks. She floated the river and swam in it. She got to go 4 wheeling and even got to fish a little. She is such a great baby. I can't remember a time when she threw a fit. She is so good with going with the flow and just having fun. We went to an amusement park (silver dollar city) in Branson Missouri and Candice carried Carris in a back pack. Carris had a great time seeing all of the people and rides. Carris got onto a ride that had water cannons and she went to town. She was having so much fun getting wet. We are so lucky.

She is blinging

On Monday Carris went to get her ears peierced. The hardest part of the whole thing was holding carris down. We should have done this earlier. The piercing was not the worst thing for her, she just didn't like to be pinned down. She is so pretty.

She Loves The Water

We took Carris to the pool for the first time yesterday and she had a blast. We got there and I put Carris' feet in the water to get use to it and she wanted to dive right in. We couldn't go in yet because Eddie was lagging behind a little so she started to get a little ansy. Once she got in the pool she had a blast. Candice took her under twice and she did not act like it was a big deal. My little girl is so brave. She just rolls with the flow.

We are mobile

My baby girl is starting to become mobile. She has found a new place to hang out. Soon enough we will be chasing her around.

Standing up for the first time

Our baby girl is growing up so fast. Last week she start army crawling and yesterday we caught her on video pulling herself up on the bath tub. Before we know it she will be running around and I will spend all of my time trying to catch her. I feel so blessed to have to two prettiest and smartest girls ever.

Mothers Day Pictures

Candice has never gotten to take photos with just her and Carris so for mothers day I got her a photo session for my two baby girls. I don't think they could have turned out any better.

On another note, Carris is starting to become mobile. She rolls around at will and now she is showing signs of crawling. She will get up on her knees and hands and bounce there for a while then plop down. She has moved forward a little but nothing consistant. I am sure it won't be long before I have video to show.

Sleepy Girl

Last night Candice was feeding Carris in the backyard and she decided she wanted a nap. Our little girl was passed out for over an hour. Man it must be nice to be able to sleep anytime and anywhere she wants.

kickball

We had dinner at the house Sunday night and Nathan and Carmen wanted to get a little kickball game going. Of course I can't turn down a good kickball game. We got Carris involved in the game and she couldn't stop laughing and screaming because she was having so much fun. When Christy ran with her she would scream so loud. She got to play in the field and everytime the ball was kicked she would laugh and scream at it. She wouldn't crack up like this with the camera in front of her but I got as much as I could. It was one of the funnest moments I've had watching her. I couldn't get over how much fun she was having.

Carris loving on Papa

Carris was loving on Papa this weekend and we had to take a picture.

We are in the process of trying to get her to crawl. She is only 6 months old but we are starting early. We can tell that she wants to do it but is confused on what to do. She gets high center on that belly of hers. I know she will get it soon.

Carris' first taste of lemon

Carris got her first taste of a lemon while were at Chili's on sunday. She tasted it the first time but it didn't really register. Then on the second time we got the pucker face.

Easter 2010

We had a great first Easter with Carris. She got to go on about 10 egg hunt and her Easter dress was sooo cute. She is getting pretty like her momma everyday. We had 40-50 people over to the house for an Easter brunch. She was showing off and trying to talk to everyone. On Wednesday she got her 6 month shots and my big girl didn't even shed a tear. She is getting tough like her daddy.
